Questions businesses ask us.
Straight answers about how we are paid, switching, Letters of Authority and complaints.
Working with us
Are you a broker?
Yes. ITEA Limited, trading as BizUp360, is a broker. We compare offers from our panel of suppliers and help you switch if you choose to.
Do I have to switch?
No. If staying with your current supplier is the better option for you, we will say so. You are free to say no to any offer, and you owe us nothing if you do.
Which suppliers do you work with?
We compare offers from a panel of energy, gas and waste suppliers, not the whole market. When we show you prices, we tell you which suppliers we asked. You are free to get other quotes and compare.
Who provides the card machines?
We work with several card machine providers and recommend the one that fits how you sell. Your contract is with the provider, on its terms.
Letters of Authority and switching
What is a Letter of Authority?
A Letter of Authority (LOA) is a signed form that lets us speak to your current supplier for you. It lets us ask for your usage, rates and contract end date, and ask suppliers for quotes. It does not sign you up to any contract. It says how long it lasts, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.
What do you need from me?
A recent bill for each service, a list of your sites, and your contract end dates if you know them. To get exact prices we may ask you to sign a Letter of Authority.
What do I sign before a contract?
Before we arrange any contract, we send you our broker agreement and the supplier’s offer. The offer shows the price and the contract length. Nothing is agreed until you accept it.
Where do I get a quote?
At bizup360.co.uk/contact. BizUp360 is our trading name.
Complaints
How do I complain?
Email complaints@bizup360.co.uk or see our complaints procedure. We acknowledge your complaint within five working days and send a final response within eight weeks.
What about card machine complaints?
Complaints about a card machine provider’s own service, such as the machine, payments or its charges, go to that provider first under its complaints procedure. Complaints about how we introduced you come to us.
What happens to the bills I send?
We use them to get quotes and arrange the contracts you ask for, and share them with suppliers or providers only for that. Our privacy notice explains how long we keep them and your rights.
